Rescuing Dogs from South Korea's Meat Trade — One Life at a Time
Every year, over 2 million dogs are slaughtered in South Korea's dog meat trade. Jindo Love Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and entirely volunteer-run organization saving dogs from dog meat farms, puppy mills, and abandonment — and placing them in loving homes across the United States and Canada.
Our Impact in Numbers

Each of these dogs survived the unthinkable. Now they're ready to become part of your family.
Dogs Waiting for Their Forever Home
🚨 911 Emergency Rescue Cases
Some dogs cannot wait. Our 911 cases are dogs in immediate, life-threatening danger — facing imminent slaughter, injury, or dire conditions on dog meat farms right now. Emergency rescues require fast funding for transport, veterinary care, and temporary housing. Every dollar you give to a 911 case goes directly to pulling that dog out of danger within days. If you can foster or fund an emergency rescue, you are the difference between life and death for a dog who has never known kindness.
What Adopters Say
Over 1,000 families across the U.S. and Canada have opened their hearts and homes to dogs rescued by Jindo Love. Here are just a few of their stories.
“We adopted Gin from Jindo Love in May of 2017. She is literally the best dog in the entire world, with no exaggeration. From the moment we brought her home, it was just so clear that she was meant to be with us. She is the glue to our family — from wrestling with her 70lb Husky-mix sisters to gently grooming our 11-year-old Chihuahua to cuddling with our 3 cats. I can not thank Jindo Love enough for trusting us with such a special little dog. She truly is my heart.”
