The dogs available through Jindo Love Rescue are survivors. Pulled from dog meat farms, shut-down puppy mills, and the streets of South Korea, many are Korean Jindos or Korean Village Dogs — though we rescue all breeds, because any dog can become a victim of the meat trade. After rescue, each dog is cared for and rehabilitated at our foster home in South Korea before making the journey to their adoptive families in the United States or Canada. Korean Jindos and Jindo-mixes are known for their loyalty, intelligence, and athletic spirit. They bond deeply with their families and, with patience and love, flourish into extraordinary companions. Adopters describe them as intuitive, affectionate, and endlessly surprising — dogs who hike through snow, master tricks in a day, and somehow always know when you need a hug. Our more than 1,000 successful adoptions speak to just how extraordinary these dogs truly are. Every dog listed here has been evaluated by our volunteer team, is up to date on vaccinations, has been spayed or neutered, and is microchipped before traveling to their new home. We are committed to making the right match — for both the dog and the family.
