Every Photo Tells a Rescue Story
From dog meat farms in South Korea to loving homes across the U.S. and Canada — these are the faces behind our mission. Each image is a life saved, a transformation witnessed, a family made whole.
Real Dogs. Real Rescues. Real Transformations.
Every photo in this gallery was captured during an actual Jindo Love Rescue operation — on the ground at dog meat farms and puppy mills in South Korea, at international airports on transport day, inside the foster homes that nurse these dogs back to trust, and in the forever homes where they thrive. Since 2015, our entirely volunteer-run rescue has documented hundreds of dogs pulled from slaughter, rehabilitated with patience and love, and placed with families across North America. These are not stock images. These are Gin leaping through wildflower fields, Aurora running free on a leash for the first time, Keopi rescued from the back of a truck bound for the meat market, and Pikachu — a puppy mill survivor — finally letting someone hold him. Browse their stories. Then help us write more.

Ready to Be Someone's Happy Ending?
The dogs in this gallery found their forever — but thousands more are still waiting in South Korea. Every year, over 2 million dogs are slaughtered in the dog meat trade. Your adoption or donation puts our all-volunteer team back on the ground, saving the next Gin, the next Pikachu, the next Aurora. Open your home or open your heart — either way, you change a life.
